The regular communications of the Lodge of Research have been suspended and the dispensation allowed to lapse. Like many other lodge meetings, attendance amounted to a half dozen or less usually a juggling act to formally open a session. We felt the small group interested in research could meet occasionally on an informal basis, present a paper, discuss the contents, or discuss anything of a masonic nature, without the formality of opening and closing Lodge.

And so the Lodge of Research did not seek a Charter. The exercise is not a failure, several excellent papers were presented, but simply another step in the evolution of Masonry in New Brunswick.

The links at the left will connect you to the material generated by the Lodge of Research during its short existence. We believe you will find them interesting.
